I recently joined the Department of Economics at the University of Connecticut as an Assistant Professor after completing my Ph.D. at the University of British Columbia.
My research interests lie at the intersection of energy, resource, and environmental economics and industrial organization. In particular, I am interested in how industries can accelerate the transition to cleaner technologies. My research applies structural modelling from IO to understand how policy interacts with firm behavior and technology. My current projects focus on maritime shipping, agriculture, and electricity.
In a previous iteration I was a microtechnology engineer specializing in micro-fluidic devices. In my spare time I prefer to be pedaling a bike.
